What can you see in Summer?
Welcome back to term 6, our new project starting on Monday 1st June until the summer holidays is called ‘Summer Fun’. Our driving question for this project is ‘What can you see in Summer?’ Please see above for the knowledge organiser which contains key knowledge and vocabulary, this is what we would like the children to be able to recall by the end of the project.
During this project, we will be learning all about different seasonal changes and spotting signs of summer, learning how to keep safe in the sun, and learning what plants need to grow. We are hoping for some lovely weather to be able to enjoy some summer fun activities and be able to spend lots of time outdoors. The children will be using their creativity to design postcards, plant sunflowers, design and make ice creams and create fruit kebabs.
Please keep posting on Twitter and using your child’s Tapestry account to let me know how you’re getting on with your home learning. It’s a great way to share your successes, inventions, models, creations and ideas!
